OK, I am going to post these in 4 lots of 5, why? Because it is easier for me LOL.

20 More I Wish Cards

Here are 20 more cards made from the I Wish Simply Scrappin' kit. I added 5 A4 sheets each of Kraft, Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip and some 5/8" Real Red grosgrain ribbon to the basic kit, I have made these 20 cards from the add ons and have enough to make another 20, although I am now nearly out of stickers and will need to pull in images from the Snow Swirled Stamp set to make the next 20.

I am hoping to get these cards individually photographed tomorrow and will post them for you to have a closer look.

I Wish Stationary Box

Well, it is definitly not too early to think about Christmas. I am teaching this fabulous Stationary Box to a wonderful group of ladies tomorrow. It holds 8 standard cards and envelopes, 8 3x3 cards and envelopes, 8 gift tags, a stamp book, an address book and a pen - awesome!

The Stationary Box was designed by the talented Jackie Topa, click here to go to her blog and tutorial. I have made minor alterations to the box to accomodate our cards and stamp books. Cards and envelopes in the US are slightly smaller than ours and I wanted room for 'our' sized cards.

Congratulations if you made it to the end of this marathon post - I nearly didn't LOL! After making all of this I still had one of each of the sticker sheets minus one holly leaf, three sheets of double sided designer paper and one sheet of 12x12 designer paper. So watch out for my next cunning plan - with a few add ons I have challenged myself to make another fourty cards with what I have left.

Faux Nestie Tutorial

I had one of those light bulb moments this afternoon and I just couldn't wait to share - I have worked out how to get the look of nesties without having to buy them!

Please excuse the quality of the photo's, If I had to spend a couple of hours doing this I probably wouldn't bother! I have done the photography and editing on my i-Phone and it only took me a few minutes. Your feedback on this style of tutorial would be appreciated :-)

Is it too early to think about Christmas cards?

I don't think it is ever too early to start, I hate last minute panics! A Flower For All Seasons is a great little stamp set, you can literally cover cards for every time of year and it watercolours beautifully!

Many Merry Messages takes care what words to stamp on your card, it covers everything Christmas and offers so many font styles and words for both the outside of your card and the inside.

Card Carrier and Sneak Peak

I have been surfing over at Lauren Meaders blog again and found her tutorial for a Boxed Bag Holder, what an awesome little box! I thought it would make a cool card carrier for gifting handmade cards, so I adjusted the measurements and came up with this version that easily holds 8 cards and 8 C6 envelopes.

The alterations I made were:

Cut 12 x 12 cardstock to 12 inches by 26cm, score on the 12 inch side at 3cm, 15cm, 18cm and 30 cm. Score on the 26cm side at 3cm, 20cm and 22 cm. Other than that just follow Lauren's tutorial and you will have a card carrier too!

One tip, you will only have a 0.5mm flap to adhere the box together at the side so I recommend you use Sticky Strip, if it overlaps a bit just fold the overlapped piece in on top of itself, Sticky Strip sticks anything to anything so I have complete faith in it holding my box together!

Now for the sneak peak details. The box is made with Parisian Breeze Speciality Designer "Paper" which is actually cardstock weight and textured, it is AWESOME and co-ordinates with Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Kraft card, look out for more 3D items made with this, I love it.

Did you notice the brad in the flower on the top right? It is a Jumbo Brad and is 5/16th of an inch across, they come in a mixed pack of 80, 20 each of Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Whisper White and Silver. I think you will be seeing a lot more of these too.

Pocket Tissue Box Cover

I am so excited, I have had the idea for this pocket tissue box cover swirling around in my head for a while and yesterday when I should have been prepping for a workshop it all came together in my head so I just had to try it out LOL.

I based it around a little soft pack of Sorbent Tissues and with a bit of fiddling I have come up with a printable template that uses one piece of A4 cardstock, this is a great way to use up scraps of designer paper and is so easy.

At the moment the template needs a bit of work, I can use it but it needs a bit of tweaking, when I get it tweeked I will post it here as a tutorial.

I ended up making three of these and used as door prizes at my workshop, the ladies loved them and I have promised to have a functioning template for them for their next workshop on the 26th of August so I have a definite deadline!

All three were made using the set Forest Friends in the mini catalogue being released on the 1st of August, so they were a sneak peak as well.
